Come together for Alda

Local entertainers are putting up a fundraiser show for the bass man, who is in a coma.

KUALA LUMPUR: The local community of entertainers have decided to get together for a series of shows this Sunday to raise funds for bassist Alda Evan Tan, who has been in a coma since March 28, when he collapsed from brain aneurysm.

The event is billed as “Come Together 2012” and will consist of gigs opening at different times and at different venues, namely The Black Box, The Bee and The Stage. Details are available at the Kakiseni website.

Among the bands performing are Love Me Butch, Dragon Red, Seven Collar T-Shirt, Once Upon A Time There Was A Sausage Named Bob, Jason Lo, Deja Voodoo Spells, An Honest Mistake and Free Deserters.

Tan is being treated at the Intensive Care Unit of the Damansara Specialist Hospital.

He has played bass for Dragon Red, Shelley Leong, Joe Flizzow and Car Crash Hearts.
