Young pianist Kris Kim on show

Kris Kim, 22-year-old ‘new sensation young pianist of the year’, will be making his solo piano debut in Kuala Lumpur on Aug 3 and 4 at the KL Performing Arts Centre.

The Boston-based Korean classical pianist, and winner of numerous international piano competitions, Kris takes music lovers on a journey of piano compositions.

Joining Kris on stage will be VIMA award winners Shruthi J, debonair electric violinist Dennis Lau and blues guitarist Julian Mokhtar on Aug 3.

On Aug 4, there will be a classical cross-over evening themed Mosaic and joining Kim is piano maestro Loo Bang Hean.

Both evening recitals start at 8.30pm. Doors will open at 8pm.
