Contestant Catherine Ng was one of the five winners who bagged RM100 prize money.
‚ÄúI’m very excited to win this. I find it interesting to snap pictures of taxis,‚ÄĚ said Ng, with a chuckle.
In the contest that ran in July, FMT received more than 20 entries from contestants who snapped two pictures each of different taxis carrying the company’s tagline, ‚ÄúSecrets, Scandals and Scoops‚ÄĚ.
Ng received a prize money worth RM100 from FMT’s managing editor Phlip Rodrigues.
Also present were FMT’s chief editor K Kabilan, business head Siva Chandran and Ng’s boyfriend Kevin Cheong.
Ng, 33, who is an avid reader of FMT, said that she spotted her first cab with the slogan while she was driving on a highway here.
‚ÄúThe second one was a sheer luck when I spotted another cab parked at a roadside,‚ÄĚ she said.
Rodrigues said that FMT would hold other contests in the future and hoped more readers would join in the fun.
‚ÄúWe also hope that our tagline on over 200 taxis will create more public awareness on our news portal,‚ÄĚ he said.
The rest of the winners would receive their prize money via post.
