Those unhappy with Dr Mahathir’s latest posting can file a police report , says Khalid Abu Bakar
KUALA LUMPUR: The police will investigate former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad to determine if his blog post on chedet.cc is seditious once a report is lodged.
Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar said those dissatisfied with Mahathir’s blog could lodge a police report.
“We will investigate and then we will determine if there are seditious elements or if it has broken the law,” he told reporters after attending a course on Islamic State militants here.
The nation’s top cop said while there were cases that did not require a police report, one was needed in this particular instance.
Recently, Umno information chief Annuar Musa said Mahathir’s recent post entitled “AG to AG” was seditious.
