Police vest, arms, ganja plant found in Datuk Seri’s home
Police make surprising discovery at Wangsa Maju bungalow, arrest businessman’s son and two friends.
PETALING JAYA: Police made a startling discovery of weapons and ganja plants at the home of a Datuk Seri, The Malay Mail reported today.
The raid on Saturday at the bungalow in Wangsa Maju saw police also finding a replica of a police vest aside from an array of weapons, that included air pistols, samurai swords, several parang and brass knuckles.
The Datuk Seri’s son and two of his friends, who were in the house during the 8pm raid, were arrested.
Police are investigating if there was any possibility that the suspects had posed as policemen, as well as looking into their involvement in secret society activities.
A police source told the daily that the ganja plants, which ranged from 1metre to 2 metres tall, were meant for personal consumption.
Meanwhile, police also questioned the Datuk Seri who is a businessman about the discovery, and were told that he was unaware of the presence of the weapons and ganja plants.

Police have remanded the suspects for six days.
