TAWAU : An eight-month-old baby girl taken from her home in Kampung Rawa-Rawa Batu 4, Jalan Apas, was found
safe after she was left abandoned at an oil palm plantation.
The New Straits Times reported that the baby was taken over a RM100,000 debt but the abductor got cold feet and left the child in the plantation after several hours.
Police are now looking for a suspect who they believe had earlier contacted the baby’s father in a WhatsaApp message with the ransom demand.
