Molest after liposuction: Doc gets 54 months in prison
Singaporean aesthetic doctor found guilty of taking multiple photos of victim’s penis as he lay unconscious after the procedure.
PETALING JAYA: The Singapore High Court today increased the 42-month jail term of a doctor convicted of molesting a colleague on the operating table and in a hotel room after sedating him with a powerful drug, Channel NewsAsia reported.
Aesthetic doctor Tan Kok Leong, 51, was sentenced to 14 months’ jail for the June 6, 2013 molest. His sentences for the offences on Jul 5 and 6, 2013 were also significantly raised, resulting in a total jail term of 54 months, up from 42.
The court was told that Tan took 27 photos of the victim’s penis as the man, a Malaysian doctor, lay unconscious.
Tan was sentenced to 42 months’ jail last year, after an 18-day trial.
The High Court heard that on July 5, 2013, Tan had performed a liposuction procedure on the victim.
He brought the man to Oasia Hotel, where he had booked a room, and gave the victim Dormicum, a powerful sedative. When the victim was unconscious, Tan undressed him and took photographs of his penis “in multiple positions”, prosecutors said.
They spent the night at the hotel, and the next day Tan repeated his actions, sedating the victim again before taking more pictures of his penis.
The doctor however claimed he had taken the photos because the man wanted “treatment for his curved penis”.

Justice See Kee Oon said Tan’s offences would “ordinarily have attracted caning”, but Tan could not be caned as he was over 50 years old, the news portal said.
