Teen accused of raping his three younger sisters remanded
The three sisters, aged 8, 9, and 14, have accused their brother of sexually assaulting them.
PETALING JAYA: An 18-year-old from Sungai Layar, Sungai Petani, has been remanded for seven days until July 28 for allegedly sexually assaulting his three young sisters.
Magistrate Arif Mohamad Ariff issued the seven-day remand order at the Sungai Petani Courts Complex this morning, reported the News Straits Times.
Kuala Muda police launched a probe after the teen’s mother lodged a report on Thursday when her eight-year-old daughter revealed she had been raped by her brother.
The girl claimed that her brother had raped her in a vacant house adjacent to their home in Kampung Pulau Tiga, Sungai Layar, at about 8pm on Wednesday.
Subsequently, her two elder sisters, aged 9 and 14, came forward with similar rape allegations.
Police detained the teenager yesterday when he turned up at the district police headquarters to have his statement recorded.
