Mohd Shirin Adenan says 18 committee members are also leaving the party as they are disappointed with Perak PPBM's leadership.

Mohd-Shirin-Adenan-ppbm-quitBATU GAJAH: Batu Gajah PPBM division pro-tem chief Mohd Shirin Adenan today announced that he is quitting the party along with its 18 committee members.

Shirin said they decided to quit as they were disappointed with the leadership of Perak PPBM, led by Ahmad Faizal Azumu.

He said it was also a sign of protest to get the central leadership to pay attention to what was going on in Perak PPBM.

“The appointment of Ahmad Faizal Azumu as Perak PPBM chairman really opened our eyes to what PPBM stands for.

“He is a greenhorn and has put Perak PPBM in a headless-chicken situation,” he told a press conference at the party’s office here today.

He said another issue that drove them to quit was the Registrar of Societies chiding the party for not registering its youth wing (Armada).

“This is serious as it can lead to the de-registration of the party,” he said, adding that they did not want to be in a party that was in “such a mess”.
