Seremban-KL commuter train to resume on Wednesday
One trip at 7.08am to KL Sentral and one return trip at 5.55pm to Seremban on week days.
SEREMBAN: KTM will resume commuter services from Seremban and Nilai to KL Sentral on Wednesday after a break of several years.
There will be one morning service from Seremban to KL Sentral and a return trip in the afternoon, only on weekdays.
It leaves Seremban at 7.08am, with a one-minute stop at Nilai at 7.25am and is expected to reach KL Sentral at 8.19am. The return trip leaves KL Sentral at 5.55pm, stops at Nilai at 6.50pm and is expected to reach Seremban at 7.10pm.
The fare would be RM8.70 from Seremban to KL Sentral, RM7 from Nilai to KL Sentral and RM3.60 from Nilai to Seremban.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook said he had asked KTM management a month ago to bring back the express service because there are now more Seremban residents who work in Kuala Lumpur.
The service would be an addition to the normal train schedule, and can take up to 328 seated passengers and 790 standing.
