DAPâs S Ramakrishnanâs call for Natural Resources and Environment Minister Douglas Uggah Embas to quit is most welcome and right on the mark.
Embas should have resigned long ago. After two years of presiding over prevarication, procrastination, cover ups and excuses he has achieved nothing for wildlife. Lots of talk but no action, so no change there then.
Consequently his ministry coupled with the disgraced Perhilitan have managed to drag Malaysiaâs reputation into the sewers and will soon take with it the environmental tourism industry. I wonder what the people in Sabah and Sarawak will think about that?
The sooner Embas resigns and takes with him his cronies from the ministry and Perhilitan, the better it will be for all concerned.
