Spend money on constructive matters, PKR!

May 14, 2014

FMT LETTER: From Chong Wu Ling, via e-mail

I was surprised to see posters and banners on the PKR polls displayed around Petaling Jaya. I do not think it is appropriate for the party to publicise the polls around the city.

The PKR polls are not general elections. The party does not have to publicise it. I am sure the preparation of posters and advertisement banners needs a lot of money.

As far as I know, the funding of PKR comes not only from party members but also public donations.

Therefore, instead of spending the money on publicising the polls, PKR should use the money on other more constructive matters that benefit the people.

For instance, the party can set up foundations to help those who are in need but have all this while been neglected by the federal government.

If PKR still wants to be deemed as a potential ruling party, I call upon its party leaders to set a good example in spending the money wisely.
