COMMENT The move to charge Dr Ling Liong Sik caught many of us completely by surprise, not because we think the former MCA president is too clean to be associated with corruption, but because we still believe that the police, the Attorney-General and the judiciary are all in Barisan Nasional’s pocket and would not act against a figure so intimately connected to the ruling coalition and so prominent in its history.

I refer to the FMT report 'PKFZ scandal: Former MCA boss Ling charged'. I quote, "according to the charge sheet, the finance ministry had already valued the land at RM25psf inclusive of compounded interest - and this fact was withheld by the accused from the Cabinet."

I'm a retired government servant, and while still working five years ago, I used the services of Universitry Hospital (UH). At that time, the doctor prescribed the painkiller Celecoxib and I could get it for free (no payment) at UH pharmacy.

It is joke of the day that Perkasa wants to integrate the Bumiputeras and non-Bumiputeras. It just like saying that the Human Rights Party (HRP) wants to improve race relations between Indians, Malays and Chinese.
Perkasa is the worst form of Malay racism as the HRP is the worst form of Indian racism. Perhaps it is about time that HRP join hands with toad Ibrahim Ali to work out some racist plan to unite Malaysians or alternatively find ways and means to start an ethnic war.

We hear of the announcement of billions of ringgit being either allocated or spent on retraining of unemployed persons (graduates or otherwise) who are then 'successfully' placed in employment.
Now how much of this is the truth? I for one, have my doubts.

Syabas! Wan Junaidi. It takes a man with ‘guts of steel’ to lash out at BN MPs. I do have this feeling that many of these MPs (both sides) are ‘seat warmers’.
Many of the questions posed by these MPs were ‘content’ questions, meaning it's just to show that they also took part in the proceedings.

COMMENT Former Transport Minister Ling Liong Sik was charged in court yesterday. It sent shocks through the MCA. MCA must now feel betrayed.
