KUALA LUMPUR: The opposition will continue to expose the BN's wrongdoings even if the latter gets Anwar Ibrahim suspended from Parliament, Sungai Petani MP Johari Abdul said today.
He described as “childish” the move to suspend the opposition leader for saying the Prime Minister's 1Malaysia project was a replica of the 1Israel campaign, which the Jewish state launched in 1999.
He said suspending Anwar would not dampen the Pakatan Rakyat spirit and opposition MPs would “continue to tell all”.
“It's too late,” he said, claiming that voters had already decided to throw BN out in the next general election.
“Umno-BN can go ahead and do whatever they want now with the little power they have.”
Anwar, in a speech in Parliament on Wednesday, said Apco Worldwide, which advises Premier Najib Tun Razak's administration on the 1Malaysia campaign, also advised former Israeli premier Ehud Barak on 1Israel. Apco has since said it was not involved with 1Israel.

Johari accused BN of trying to stop Anwar from making more exposures that would embarrass Najib, especially on such issues as the Altantuya murder, the Scorpene submarine deal, the Sukhoi fighter jet scandal and the PKFZ.
“All he did was ask why Najib had engaged Apco as consultant when it is well known that the company is linked to Zionists,” he said.
Johari said a written reply to a question posed in Parliament confirmed that the government had employed Apco to repair its image.
“This simply means that the government admits to securing Apco’s services. With this admission, the government admits that it hired a company that has many directors and advisers from Zionist Israel,” he said.
“It also means that Umno-BN are in cahoots with a company that oppresses and kills hundreds of thousands of Palestinians and has seized their lands.
"Anwar’s disclosure stunned Najib and forced him into action because the people now know the treachery of Umno, which has been proudly declaring itself as the champion of Islam, when it has in fact been sleeping with the Jews.”
