RAM Holdings names Wan Abdul Aziz as chairman
He has served as an independent director since 2013 and has 37 years’ public service experience in finance and economic planning.
KUALA LUMPUR: RAM Holdings Bhd has named Wan Abdul Aziz Wan Abdullah as its new chairman effective June 6.
He succeeds Siti Norma Yaakob, who retired after having served as RAM’s chairman for 10 years.
In a statement, RAM Holdings said Wan Aziz had served as an independent director on the board since 2013.
Prior to this, he spent more than 37 years in public service gaining vast experience in finance and economic planning.
“It is an honour to take on this responsibility at such an exciting time. The capital market and the needs of our clients, regulators and stakeholders are changing at a rapid pace.
“To succeed, RAM must be able to deal with these changes through innovative strategies which will strengthen RAM’s competitive advantage and sustainability,” Wan Aziz said.
