Delicious Curry House is situated some 15 mins or so from Kota Kinabalu town centre at Taman Ridgeview to be exact.
It is a small commercial area that is pretty quiet in the evenings, which means it’s super easy to find a decent place to park when you come here to eat.
The menu is not very extensive, but covers a decent selection of dishes that include seafood, vegetables and poultry, either cooked-up spicy or non-spicy.
The Asam Curry Prawns (RM32) was the hands-down favourite of the night. The broth was flavourful and packed a punch in terms of spiciness.
If you love Asam Pedas, you’ll find this version satisfying, especially with Kota Kinabalu prawns being of so high quality.
The Thai-style steamed squid (RM18) will provide yet another jolt to your senses with its lime, garlic, and chili padi ingredients. The huge squid was of course, fresh and juicy.
For greens, the salted egg bitter gourd (RM13.80), and Paku Pakis (RM13.80), sometimes “branded” as a Sabah vegetable were super delicious.
The portions were huge, but the Paku Pakis was a tad too oily. The bitter gourd however would make a perfect snack with beer.
Overall, the dinner was super satisfying as it offered great value for money and was delicious to boot. Would not hesitate to go back there again.
