The artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear Virgil Abloh will tap into his other life as a DJ and spin at the Wynn Las Vegas this summer, filling a “nightlife residency.”

It’s not the first time Abloh has played DJ at the tables of the luxury resort. He first spun at the hotel’s XS Nightclub in 2017.

This summer, he returns to deliver curated sets for both the XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club beginning June 29.

“Pushing the boundaries of where art, fashion and music collide has been a driving force behind our success, where every experience we present to guests first passes a litmus test for originality,” said Alex Cordova, Wynn Nightlife Managing Partner in a press release.

“We are honoured to be working with such a visionary who appreciates the impact of artistry, and applies it to everything he does.”

Along with the nightlife residency at the hotel, Abloh also brings his fashion label Off-White to Las Vegas this summer.

Last winter, Abloh also collaborated with Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami to create a nine-foot, kinetic neon multimedia sculpture “Arrows and Flower Neon Sign.” The installation is a signpost at the hotel’s luxury retail area.

Off-White opens in July, and Abloh’s residency schedule kicks off June 29, with additional dates to be announced.
