Ahead of the release of his 17th studio album, Snoop Dogg unveiled the music video for the title track.

The song, produced by DJ Battlecat, alludes to his viral acceptance speech when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, last November.

The clip, directed by Dah Dah, opens on the rapper famously stating that “I wanna thank me for believing in me, I wanna thank me for doing all this hard work.”

Scenes from the speech are cuts with images of Snoop Dogg performing on stage, coaching a youth football league and even visiting a marijuana farm.

“I Wanna Thank Me” will be featured on the Californian rapper’s upcoming new album of the same name, due out at a yet-unknown date this summer.

The record will follow his 2018 “Bible of Love,” which ranked No.1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Album chart for seven non-consecutive weeks.
