It’s largely back to business for many Malaysians and if you’re among those who have ceased to work from home, it means spending most of your day in an enclosed office space with your workmates.

However, with the current virus still at large, it’s important to practise good habits at all times, particularly in the office and to ensure your space is clean and comfortable always.

Here are three great ways to make that happen.

1. Clean office supplies

It’s been quite some time since you’ve been to the office, so it’s understandable if many items at your workstation have accumulated dust and dirt.

The first and most basic step to cleaning your chair, desk, and other office equipment is to give everything a quick wipe down with a clean, wet cloth.

2. Disinfect and sanitise

These are important steps to eliminate viruses that currently exist around you. A study has proven that the current coronavirus can last up to five days and is difficult to kill even at very cold temperatures.

This means that regular cleaning is not enough to ensure your office is free of viruses. Disinfecting on the other hand, will kill 99.9% of harmful germs, viruses, and bacteria.

Besides disinfecting the surfaces you come in contact with as well as “high touch” areas in your office, place several bottles of hand sanitisers that contain at least 60% of alcohol so that employees can regularly sanitise their hands.

It is important to keep your office as germ-free an environment as possible, especially during this global pandemic.

3. Get an air purifier going

Air is one medium for viruses to spread. Therefore having good air circulation in the room where you and your workmates spend the most time, is imperative to your health.

One of the latest and easiest technologies to improve air circulation in the room is an air purifier.

This tool comes with plasma cluster technology which is proven to deactivate the coronavirus or feline coronavirus (FCoV).

Air purifiers can be installed on every side of your office to give employees a sense of safety and comfort while at work.
