FMT sat down with Mohd Rizal Jailan, CEO of the Automotive Group at Naza Corporation Holdings Sdn Bhd to further understand how its subsidiary, NZ Wheels Sdn Bhd, strives to meet the needs of its customers.
Q: Could you tell us about the growth of NZ Wheels and its contribution to our nation’s motoring industry?
A: Since 1994, NZ Wheels has been a prominent authorised dealer of Mercedes-Benz. We are also responsible for importing Mercedes-Benz CBU units for Mercedes-Benz Malaysia.
We are proud to be operating three 3S centres across the Klang Valley and Johor Bahru. Each of these showrooms offers a wide range of Mercedes-Benz vehicles including sedans, SUVs, coupes and convertibles.
We also offer the Mercedes-Benz electric range including the EQA, EQB, EQC, EQE and the EQS. The EQS is a luxury sedan that can go up to 696km on a single charge, followed by the EQE with a range of 669km.
Q: What can potential and current Mercedes-Benz owners expect at NZ Wheels 3S centres?

A: NZ Wheels places high priority on customer service and has implemented several measures to ensure customer satisfaction. This includes ongoing training and certification for sales and service staff, regular customer feedback surveys, and a commitment to using only genuine Mercedes-Benz parts and equipment in service work.
We offer both new and certified pre-owned vehicles, and new vehicles can even be customised with a variety of options and accessories.
While at the centre, customers can also enjoy a range of amenities such as complimentary refreshments, Wi-Fi, and shuttle services.
Q: How do you stay up to date in offering Mercedes-Benz owners the best service possible?
A: We attend regular Mercedes-Benz training programmes to stay in touch with the newest updates and technologies. Additionally, we have access to the latest diagnostic equipment and tools, which enables us to perform complex repairs and services on the latest models.
We also make it easy for customers to schedule service appointments through our website or by phone. There’s also a mobile app that allows customers to schedule appointments, view service histories, and receive alerts when service is due.

Q: How does NZ Wheels stand apart in this competitive industry?
A: NZ Wheels has won several awards including the “Best in Financial Services” award by Mercedes-Benz Malaysia. This recognises our commitment to providing top-quality and flexible financing packages.
We educate customers on ‘Agility Financing’ which combines the benefits of ownership and leasing. It offers customers the option to trade in their current vehicle, extend their finance contract, or refinance the final balloon payment to make the purchase more affordable.
Q: To conclude, how does NZ Wheels ensure meeting the demands of the modern buyer?
A: The Mercedes-Benz Online Store allows customers to view vehicles, customise features, and complete the purchasing process entirely online.
Additionally, we create awareness via the Mercedes me app, which provides a range of features and services, such as remote vehicle access, vehicle tracking, and digital key functionality.
