1980s film star Aziz Singah dies of cancer

KUALA LUMPUR: Abdul Aziz Singah, 75, died of cancer at his residence in Bandar Putra Permai, Seri Kembangan, near here last night.

His son, Ruzaimei Abdul Aziz, popularly known as “Bob Singah”, said his father’s remains would be buried today at Kampung Bongek Cemetery in Rembau, Negeri Sembilan, before the zohor prayer.

Abdul Aziz was popular in the 1980s and had acted in several films and dramas, like PJ Holding, Sate, Maria Mariana and Impian.

He had also served as president of Persatuan Seniman Malaysia, a body advocating the rights of artistes.
