KUALA LUMPUR: Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani has been appointed as head of the commercial criminal investigations department at federal police headquarters from Aug 1.
Acryl Sani is currently head of crime prevention and community safety. His position will be taken over by Rusli Ahmad, who is the head of research and development at the IGP’s secretariat.
The appointments are part of a reshuffle of 18 senior officers announced in a statement yesterday.
Among them is Abdul Ghani Ahmad, who will head the Penang commercial crime unit. He is currently assistant director of federal CCID in charge of investigations into financial, banking, cooperative, insurance crime.
