KUALA LUMPUR: Customers of the electricity company, Tenaga Nasional Bhd, can carry out online transactions at www.mytnb.com.my by the end of this month.
They can pay bills, apply for electricity, change tenancy or close their account, among other transactions.
TNB said the online system would allow direct debit to a customer’s bank account and provide quicker deposit refunds.
Customers can carry out transactions “without borders”, TNB said in a statement today.
“During the system transition period in July, minor hiccups may occur for several transactions.
“However, our staff are ready to assist and will try their best to reduce the hiccups,” said TNB.
Customers will also get access to information such as electricity consumption trends and links to other sites related to the power industry.
