PETALING JAYA: Former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been discharged from the National Heart Institute (IJN).
Star Online reported he was discharged at 4.30pm today.
“He will continue with physiotherapy and exercises at home,” IJN said in a press release.
Dr Mahathir was admitted on Aug 9 with a chest infection.
Dr Mahathir, 91, retired in 2003 after being prime minister for 22 years. He has undergone several heart procedures.
