PETALING JAYA: “He was a good son.”
These were the words of a grief-stricken Norsyam Jalil, the father of murdered Noor Amila Edrus Norsham, whose body was found at a ravine in Hulu Kelang earlier today, reported NST Online.
According to the report Norsyam said his son’s identity was confirmed from the clothes he was wearing.
Noor Amila, who was abducted after performing Mahgrib prayers at the surau of the public housing project in Jinjang Utara, was believed to have been killed by a relative and his body thrown into a ravine.
“He was five. He knew nothing,” said Norsyam, adding his son was a good son, who was already reciting the Quran by the time he was four.
He also said his son was diligent in performing his prayers and had been consistent in going to the surau.
Norsyam labelled those who killed his son as being “heartless” and said he could not bear to see the body of his son as doctors said it was not in good condition.
He said he accepted his son’s death as God’s will.
Earlier today, it was reported that a body of a child, believed to be that of Noor Amila had been found near a river in Kampung Kemensah, Hulu Kelang.
Berita Harian reported that the body of the child was found after the suspect in the case, who is related to the victim, led police to the location.
