Bomoh cheats woman of RM130k

PETALING JAYA: An Indonesian bomoh cheated a 60-year-old pensioner of RM130,000 by promising to double her cash.

NST Online reported that the woman met the bomoh, known as Pak Edi, on Aug 22 at a hotel in Taman Daya.

She brought along RM130,000 in a suitcase.

Johor Baru Selatan Police Chief ACP Sulaiman Salleh said the woman was told to hang on to another suitcase.

The bomoh, the woman and her husband proceeded to the bank to “complete the spell” but on the way the bomoh, who was carrying the cash, disappeared in the crowd.

Upon opening her bag, she found only stacks of blank paper.
