PETALING JAYA: Two local artistes were involved in a scuffle at a National Transformation 2050 (TN50) dialogue for the entertainment industry attended by Prime Minister Najib Razak in Putrajaya tonight.
The altercation reportedly took place between actor Sulaiman Yassin, more popularly known as Mat Over, and well-known Metrowealth Pictures film producer and CEO David Teo.
Teo had criticised the session’s moderator, Rosyam Nor, for allegedly overlooking those seated at the back when it came to asking questions or speaking, theSundaily said.
At this point, Sulaiman was said to have rushed over and suddenly slapped Teo.
Security officials subsequently escorted both Teo and Sulaiman from the venue, a hall at Seri Perdana.
Rosyam, who is also a director and actor, said he was embarrassed over the incident and apologised to Najib.
The duo emerged several minutes later and also apologised to Najib, drawing applause from the crowd.
