PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices will be lower across the board from midnight, with a seven-sen drop per litre for petrol and a six-sen decrease for diesel.
The price of RON95 petrol will go down seven sen per litre to RM1.98 from RM2.05, while the price of RON97 will be down by seven sen per litre to RM2.24 from RM2.31 previously.
Diesel will drop six sen in price to RM1.88 from RM1.94 per litre previously.
The new prices will be in effect from June 15 until June 21.
This was announced on RTM1 and posted on the domestic trade, cooperatives and consumerism ministry’s Twitter account this evening.
The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect from March 29 this year.
Prices of petrol and diesel had been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014, following the removal of fuel subsidies.
This is the third consecutive week fuel prices have dropped.
