PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices will go up from midnight, with a 6-sen increase per litre for petrol while the price of diesel will go up by 3 sen.
The price of RON95 petrol will increase to RM2.03 from RM1.97, while the price of RON97 will go up to RM2.28 from RM2.22 previously.
The price of diesel will go up to RM1.99 from RM1.96.
The new prices will be in effect from July 27 until Aug 2, 2017.
This was posted on the domestic trade, cooperatives and consumerism ministry’s website on Wednesday evening.
The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect from March 29 this year. Prices of petrol and diesel had been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014, following the removal of fuel subsidies.
