In the clip, Isa sings “Sri Banang dan Pancang Jermal”, originally sung by Imam S Ariffin, during an event at a golf club in Alor Gajah, Melaka, yesterday.
“His mood is ok… like nothing transpired,” said Facebook user Azizan Che Soh.
Another user referred to a line in the song which talks about a kite held only by a thread, and replaced with a stronger rope.
“Now the thread is cut,” said Radzuan Abdullah.
Felda is currently embroiled in a controversy involving its land in Jalan Semarak, which is believed to have a market value of RM1 billion.
Last week, a pro-government daily reported that Felda risked losing ownership of the land following a dubious transfer of the land title involving some RM200 million two years earlier.
Police have said that Isa, who still heads Felda Investment Corporation, would be called in for questioning.
Attempts by FMT to get Isa’s response has failed.
Just days earlier, vocal Felda whistleblower Mazlan Aliman broke down during an interview with a Youtube channel hosted by Amanah.
Mazlan was in tears when he appealed to Felda settlers to wake up to the problems faced by the agency.
“I have no self-interest. As a settler’s son, my heart and mind are focused on the settlers. I appeal for change, in the interest of our growing children,” said Mazlan, who heads the National Association of Felda Settlers’ Children (Anak).
