KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman brought cheer to 350 pupils in Sandakan.
Musa made the visit to Sungai Manila in his first official duty on the first day of 2018.
At the meet-the-people programme, Musa, who is also the Sungai Sibuga assemblyman, officiated at a back-to-school programme hosted by Korporasi Pembangunan Desa (KPD).
Musa presented school bags and stationery to the 350 pupils during KPD’s corporate social responsibility programme.
Also present at the event were Libaran MP Juslie Ajirol, Gum-Gum assemblyman Zakaria Edris, Sandakan Municipal Council president James Wong, Sungai Sibuga People’s development leader Salzo Asa, and Libaran BN/Umno leaders and villagers.
Earlier this month, Musa had urged Umno and BN leaders to work the ground in their respective constituencies ahead of the next polls.
“Now is the time to go back to our constituencies and work together to ensure a huge victory for BN,” he had said on the sidelines of the Umno annual general assembly in Kuala Lumpur.
Musa said BN’s track record would assure the coalition of a big victory.
“We have to make it clear that we are always helping people from all walks of life. Go down to the ground and keep them informed about our policies and our successes,” he said.
