PETALING JAYA: Two-term Tanjung Malim incumbent Ong Ka Chuan will not be defending his seat as Perak Barisan Nasional (BN) appears to be heeding the call by Prime Minister Najib Razak to field young candidates in the coming election.
The international trade and industry minister II will be replaced by Perak MCA chief Mah Hang Soon.
Other notable omissions are Trong assemblyman Zabri Abd Wahid, Parit MP Zaim Abu Hasan and Kampung Gajah assemblyman Abdullah Fauzi Ahmad Razali.
