Najib and Justo at MACC

PUTRAJAYA: Former prime minister Najib Razak and a Swiss national who spent 16 months in jail for leaking documents related to 1MDB are both being questioned at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters today.

Xavier Andre Justo, 50, a former executive of Petro-Saudi International which had dealings with the troubled state firm, arrived at the MACC headquarters here at 9am.

Some 40 minutes later, Najib arrived at the same building for his second session with investigators over some RM42 million linked to SRC International, the company related to 1MDB.

On Tuesday, Najib was questioned for over four hours, in the wake of major raids at properties linked to him and his family members, where police seized cash, jewellery and luxury goods worth hundreds of millions of ringgit.
