PUTRAJAYA: Former Terengganu menteri besar Ahmad Said today gave evidence to assist in the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) probe into strategic development company 1MDB.
Ahmad, who is the state assemblyman for Kijal, arrived at the MACC headquarters here at 9.30am.
He had said in May that he was prepared to give evidence on the issue.
1MDB was set up in 2008 as a sovereign wealth fund called the Terengganu Investment Authority (TIA). TIA, which was aimed at spurring sustainable socio-economic development in Terengganu, was renamed 1MDB in January 2009.
