SHAH ALAM: Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari today called for a review of the licensing and registration of nurseries and babysitters following the death of a five-month-old boy whose body was found in a freezer on Tuesday.
Amirudin said the public, especially those with children, should learn from the death of Adam Rayqal Mohd Sufi, who was reportedly abducted by an unknown individual.
He was speaking to reporters after visiting the Selangor police contingent headquarters here.
Adam’s body was found in the freezer at the home of his babysitter at Kampung Nakhoda, Batu Caves.
Two suspects believed to be linked to his death were remanded for seven days last night to facilitate investigations.
