KUALA LUMPUR: MyEG Services Bhd’s (MyEG) sub-subsidiary Agensi Pekerjaan MyEG Jobs Sdn Bhd (MyEGJobs) has received a licence to conduct matters relating to private employment agencies.

The licence was issued by the Labour Department under the Human Resources Ministry.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MyEG said the licence would allow MyEGJobs (formerly known as MyEG Jobs Sdn Bhd) to carry out recruitment activities for a job seeker within and outside Malaysia and a non-citizen employee within Malaysia.

The licence, which is valid for a period of 24 months from Sept 1, 2018, to Aug 31, 2020, is in line with the recent launch of the job matching and placement service to match Malaysian employers with foreign workers, said MyEG.

“The licence and the job matching and placement service are expected to contribute positively to the group,” it added.
