KUALA KUBU BHARU: The Fire and Rescue Department says it has handed over to the police all information on its investigation into the case of Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd CEO Nazrin Hassan who was killed in a fire at his house in June.
Deputy director-general (operations) Amer Yusof said the information would be used by the relevant parties as evidence in court.
“We cannot issue any statement on the case for fear that it will affect investigations by the police. We have submitted all evidence to the police,” he told reporters here today.
Nazrin, who died in a fire at his home on June 14, was found with 30% burn marks on the upper floor of his double-storey house.
The police reclassified the case as murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code following a forensic investigation by the Fire and Rescue Department.
