First Rosmah, now Najib arrives at court too

KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Najib Razak has arrived at the High Court here to attend the mention of his criminal breach of trust case in connection with the transfer of RM42 million to his private bank account from former 1MDB unit SRC International.

He arrived at 8.38am under heavy police escort, just minutes after his wife Rosmah Mansor’s arrival at the Sessions Court where she is expected to face 17 charges of money laundering.

Najib, dressed in a blue suit, arrived at the court in a Proton Perdana car.

The former prime minister faces a total of 32 charges for criminal breach of trust, abuse of power and money laundering-related offences linked to 1MDB and SRC International.
