PETALING JAYA: The remains of former Cradle Fund CEO Nazrin Hassan will be reburied tomorrow, Selangor police said.
The Star quoted Selangor CID chief Fadzil Ahmat as saying that the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) pathologist completed the second post-mortem today.
“We expect the reburial to be carried out tomorrow morning.
“We will not disclose the results of the second post-mortem yet as the case is still being investigated,” the English daily quoted him as saying.
Nazrin’s remains were initially supposed to have been reburied on Friday but it was postponed as the second post-mortem was still being carried out.
Nazrin, 45, died in a fire that broke out at his two-storey house in Mutiara Damansara on June 14.
Police reclassified Nazrin’s death as murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code on Aug 3, following a forensic investigation report by the Fire and Rescue Department.
Nazri’s widow, Samirah Muzaffar, had applied to postpone the exhumation, but it was dismissed by the Court of Appeal.
