MUAR: The full forensic report based on the investigation into the death of firefighter Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim will be released in a few days, Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said today.

He said the Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun had briefed him on the latest development.

“For now, I leave it to the doctors and police to complete the report.

“The police will release the report in the next few days,” he told reporters after presenting school aid to 550 students as part of the Back to School 2019 programme for his Pagoh constituency at the Pagoh Sports Complex today.

He said the ministry would also consider making the report public should the need arise.

Adib, 24, died on Monday night at the National Heart Institute in Kuala Lumpur.

He succumbed to severe injuries inflicted by a mob at the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Subang Jaya on Nov 27.

Adib was a member of the Emergency Medical Rescue Services of the Subang Jaya fire and rescue station.
