KUALA LUMPUR: Former minister Rafidah Aziz says there will be no problem with the crossover of seven former Umno MPs to PPBM this week if the individuals in question are honest and trustworthy.
“If they have good intentions, all will be well. But if they have other intentions, they will pay the price,” she said in an interview today.
The seven MPs who joined PPBM are Shabudin Yahaya (Tasek Gelugor), Hamzah Zainudin (Larut), Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz (Tanah Merah), Rosol Wahid (Hulu Terengganu), Mohamad Fasiah Mohd Fakeh (Sabak Bernam), Abdul Latiff Ahmad (Mersing) and Mas Ermieyati Samsudin (Tanah Merah).
Rafidah also dismissed talk that she would join PPBM, saying she only wished to serve her country.
“I did promise the prime minister I would join PPBM, but I forgot to take the membership form,” she said.
“But for now, I have no intention of joining PPBM or any other party.”
