SEREMBAN: Mohamad Hasan today brushed off claims that he owns a RM6 million Minangkabau-style house here, labelling such allegations against him as “childish”.
“Please check if (the bungalow in Seremban 2) is mine or not. If it’s mine, then it is. If it’s not, then it’s not. I can’t be bothered to entertain such claims,” he told reporters after visiting the early voting centre in Dewan Angkasa Raya, Pangkalan Tentera Udara Sendayan this morning.
The Umno acting president is looking to retain the Rantau state seat in the by-election on April 13.
Yesterday, Pakatan Harapan candidate Dr Streram Sinnasamy asked Mohamad to explain viral footage of a luxury bungalow in Seremban, allegedly owned by the former Negeri Sembilan menteri besar.
Mohamad has denied owning the house.
Apart from Streram, Mohamad will also face two independent candidates, R Malarvizhi and Mohd Nor Yassin, in the polls this Saturday.
