KUALA LUMPUR: The founder of Dnars Skincare, Faziani Rohban Ahmad, 40, died in a road crash in Pattani, Thailand, today.

She was travelling in a car driven by her husband, Ahmad Shah Rizal Ibrahim, 42, when the mishap occurred at 10.30am.

Shah was seriously injured, said the couple’s son, Iqbar Hakim, through his Instagram account.

“I have just lost my beloved mother in a road accident. I am now on my way back to my village.

“To all of you, recite the Al-Fatihah for my mummy, Faziani Rohban Ahmad. May she be placed with the pious,” he wrote.

It is learnt that Faziani’s remains had been taken to Pattani Hospital.

Faziani, from Kota Bharu, Kelantan, became popular because of her skincare products, especially in the east coast.

In Wakaf Bharu, Kelantan, Faziani’s brother Mohd Faizul, 34, said the couple had gone to Pattani to hand over a donation to a tahfiz (religious) school there.

Faizul said Faziani and Shah left their house in Wakaf Bharu at about 8am.

“She had just returned from performing the umrah in Mecca three days ago. After that, they went to Jakarta for a breaking-of-fast event with orphans,” he said.

The couple’s second child, Ainul Atiya, 18, said her father seemed tired after the trip to Jakarta but insisted on driving the car to Pattani.

“They normally got the services of a driver and would leave at about 9am but today, it was different,” she said.

She said her mother’s remains would be buried at the Kampung Kedemit Muslim Cemetery upon arrival from Pattani.
