KUALA LUMPUR: Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin today gave a curt but somewhat familiar reply on former prime minister Najib Razak’s appointment as chairman of the Barisan Nasional (BN) advisory board.
When posed the question, the former Umno Youth chief, who appeared sombre, clammed up, took a deep breath and gave this reply:
“Suddenly, I am not so happy where I am,” he said before walking off.
Khairy’s reply links back to a comment he gave last week concerning Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman’s invitation for him to join PPBM.
“I am happy where I am,” he was quoted as saying then.
Khairy has been known to be a vocal critic of Najib ever since BN lost in the last general election.
