PETALING JAYA: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah made waves on social media again today with a video of him stopping his entourage to speak to a woman whose car had been involved in an accident at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim.

The king, who was on his way to launch an exhibition at the Royal Museum in Kuala Lumpur, was seen speaking to the woman in the clip uploaded to Istana Negara’s Instagram account.

“His Majesty was on his way to the Royal Museum when he got down from his official vehicle to enquire if the person involved in the accident near the front entrance of the Istana was safe,” the accompanying post read.

The Agong had also stopped his official car to offer assistance to an accident victim in Putrajaya last month.

On June 21, meanwhile, he created a stir when he was spotted at a KFC outlet in Temerloh, Pahang, queuing for his order along with the rest of the customers.
