PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested a man who posed as a doctor and reportedly molested more than 20 women through lewd phone calls.
The man was arrested last month in a hotel in Klang after 21 police reports were lodged across the country since January, of which four reports were lodged in Selangor.
Hulu Selangor acting OCPD Azman Ab Rahman said in a statement today that the man would phone his victims about the purported results of HIV tests.
“He would tell them that they had other illnesses, such as lumps in their breasts, breast cancer, blood disorders, and fat in their womb. He would teach them certain techniques and exercises and also instruct them to rub their genitals and slap their breasts and make noises while uttering foul language,” said Supt Azman.
He would be charged tomorrow at the Kuala Kubu Bahru Sessions Court on charges of outrage of modesty and posing as a doctor, following reports lodged at Ulu Yam and Batang Kali.
The women had reportedly undergone pre-marital health checks at various medical institutions.
