PETALING JAYA: Selangor is now free from red zone districts after Hulu Langat was reclassified as a yellow zone following a drop in active cases.
A Selangor Covid-19 Task Force infographic showed that there are only 11 active cases left in the Hulu Langat district after a drop of 45 active cases in Semenyih.
A district is classified as a red zone when it has more than 40 active cases.
The last time Selangor was free from red zones was 23 days ago.
Other states which have been free from active cases are Perak, Penang, Perlis, Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu and Johor, which are now considered green zones.
To date, a total of 8,453 Covid-19 cases have been recorded with 121 deaths. Some 7,346 people have recovered while 986 are still being treated.
