Administrative MCO at 2 housing estates in Kuala Langat ends

The administrative MCO was imposed on June 2 on two housing estates in Kuala Langat after 20 foreign workers of a cleaning company residing there were found positive for Covid-19.

KUALA LANGAT: The administrative movement control order (MCO) in Taman Langat Utama and Taman Langat Murni in Bukit Changgang here ended today.

Kuala Langat district officer Mohd Jusni Hashim said it ceased at 11am.

The health ministry has completed conducting Covid-19 screening tests on 4,697 residents in both areas, he said at a media conference here today, also attended by Kuala Langat police chief Azizan Tukiman.

Jusni said the results of screening on all residents found the number of positive cases remained at nine.

They comprised seven locals, a Nepalese and a Thai who are all being treated at the Sungai Buloh Hospital.
