Sabah PPBM hails entry of more Amanah, Warisan members
Hajiji Noor says the influx is a sign of Sabahan confidence in the party and Perikatan Nasional.
TUARAN: The entry of new members and former leaders of other parties to PPBM in Sabah, is an indicator that the party is now winning over people in the state, says Sabah PPBM chief Hajiji Noor.
The entry of new members was also a good sign for Perikatan Nasional, the ruling party in the federal government. Sabahans are starting to see the capability and credibility of PN and its leader prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
He was speaking to reporters after receiving 200 new members comprising former members of Amanah and Warisan to the Tuaran PPBM division.
Hajiji said Sabah PPBM hopes to increase its membership roll to at least 200,000 by the end of the year. The party now had more than 100,000 members after setting foot in Sabah only a year ago.
