PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission launched an online portal today to allow the public to get information on the asset declarations of members of the government administration.
“As of now, MACC has received and displayed the asset information of 57 out of 70 members of the government administration, comprising the prime minister, senior ministers, ministers and their deputies,” it said in a statement.
The agency added that it was not responsible for asset declaration information obtained from sources other than from the portal.
Members of the public may view the asset declarations of the members of the administration at mydeclaration.sprm.gov.my.
De facto law minister Takiyuddin Hassan last week told the Dewan Rakyat that 43 MPs had yet to declare their assets as of July 6.
